Several of this weeks posts have been about my trip to the W Hotel in Dallas for The Weekender Dallas Event. The first being my fabulous night at the red carpet party and the second being about the fun I had shopping on Saturday.

If you remember correctly, I hinted that I wasn’t just there for pleasure. I was there to help my company unveil a new furniture brand and show some key pieces from the line! I’m happy to introduce to you…..the Holly & Martin™ home furniture line!

We were given the opportunity to furnish the room designated as the Tea Room. It was a perfect set up to give the guests a little R & R after a heavy day of shopping at the Weekender Dallas event. The ladies organizing the weekend were hoping for the room to have zen-like, restful quality and I think we delivered. While the weekend was great I also had fun planning out the space and setting up. I’m no interior designer but it didn’t turn out half bad. We made quick work of the set up especially considering how much furniture we had.

We brought mismatched chairs and funky end tables to create usable seating areas for the guests to sit down and enjoy a little down time. We choose what to bring based  on the eclectic feel of our favorite piece – the apothecary chest.

People gathered around the mini fold-out bar and relaxed on the sofa. The furniture was enjoyed by all and was the perfect set-up to sit down and regroup and share stories of their fantastic purchases. I think in total we brought fourteen chairs, one couch, one electric fireplace, seven end tables, a console table, a fold out bar, and the apothecary chest.

The whole room turned out really well, and really fit the theme that The Weekender Dallas was going for, comfort and style.

As the room was in fact a “tea room” we shared the space with a tea company called The Taste of Tea, based out of San Francisco. I’m a coffee person through and through but their teas were delicious! They made great use out of the Holly & Martin™ furniture; stocking the bar with tea goods and filling the end tables we brought with product!

The end tables are specially designed for this display purpose and I was so pleased when I saw how well The Taste of Tea had utilized them!

While I love all the furniture we used for the space, I think one of my favorite vignettes is in the photo below. I just love the jeweled trunks, I specifically placed them near the window so they would catch light and bounce it around the room.

The Holly & Martin™ line had a fantastic unveiling and was very well received at the W Hotel and by all the attendees of the event. I want to give a big thanks to the entire group from the Luxi Life who organized the weekend and gave us such a fantastic opportunity for the first public showing of Holly & Martin™, you guys rock! If you want to keep up with the product line of Holly & Martin™ you can visit the new (and still developing) website at HollyandMartin.com as well as become a fan on the Holly & Martin™ twitter, facebook, and pinterest pages. So thus concludes the Weekender Dallas post trilogy. Thanks for checking it out!
