Furniture’s Hidden Talents
Have you been thinking about buying a new coffee table? I have had several different ones myself: heavy wooden ones, light-weight glass ones and even a handsome, off-white faux stone look. They were all great and served a purpose, but the one that I have now is not only aesthetically pleasing and goes with my current style, but it’s secret, too.
The coffee table is actually a rich espresso stitched -leather ottoman that doubles as a table, but what’s great about it is that it is flexible. It’s not all or nothing with this piece. The table allows you to flip sections as you need them. So, if you want to have a drink, but still put your feet up on a nice soft-surface, it will allow you to do that!

Need more surface space? Just flip more sections. There are four leather sections that turn into stately dark wood trays that securely hold your beverage.

It also allows you to have hidden storage. Where the space might otherwise, be wasted, this coffee table allows you to hide your DVD’s, CD’s and paraphernalia that usually ends up all over your living room. It’s a great catch all for things that get brought into the living room, like toys and slippers, when you have last minute guests. Just toss the stuff in and open the door.

Espresso is a great color for a coffee table, even if it is leather, because it is one of those neutral colors that can really ground and anchor a living room. It is a flexible color that can work with something as bold as a red sofa or as subdued as a matching natural leather sofa and chair.
On this piece, stitching creates a fine detail that adds character and detail to the piece. The faux leather is easy to clean and has the look and richness of real leather without the animal sacrifice. So, no worries about putting your feet up on it, it can take it! A moist towel or a disinfecting wipe is perfect for clean-up.
The wooden frame gives this ottoman a strong and substantial feel that isn’t flimsy or likely to break underneath you, should your guest decide to sit on it. So, if you are having a party and need more seating, it’s yet another function.
Want to join the coffee table club? Try this fella on for size, not only is he a table, he’s also a set of four stools, talk about form and function! Pick him up here! What furniture pieces are you looking to buy?
