I often find myself day-dreaming about different looks for my apartment, recently I went through an organic, linen, wicker, and white phase. I love that combo, but when I began looking for wicker I found it to be quite pricey. I began looking for alternative’s one of which is rattan. What is rattan you ask?

Rattan: A thick vine used in manufacturing casual furniture. Rattan is bent into larger shapes or cut into the core material for wicker. Rattan can come in different colors and stains just like wicker. It’s a great way to substitute your need for wicker or if you just want to break up a sleek space, rattan adds some texture and earthy appeal.
